Big Sky Bravery
Post-Deployment Decompression for Active-Duty Special Operations Forces
About the Organization
Big Sky Bravery provides proactive support to active-duty Special Operations Forces through all-expense-paid, week-long Task Forces hosted in Montana's restorative landscapes. Programs combine high-adventure days with guided reflection ('Questions of the Night') to help operators decompress, reconnect, and return to duty—and to their families—more grounded. The mission now includes dedicated Spouse, Family, and Alumni programs to honor the full circle of sacrifice. Active-duty SOF are a small fraction of the military but shoulder a disproportionate share of combat risk. Big Sky Bravery meets them while they're still serving, removing every cost barrier and building trust through unit-referred cohorts.
Key Facts
Why I Support This Cause
Big Sky Bravery serves the 3% of our military who carry over half of recent combat casualties—while they're still serving. Their all-expense-paid Task Forces give active-duty SOF and their families a week to decompress, reconnect, and return stronger. I support BSB because the impact is immediate, the selection process is trusted by units, and the organization is transparent and well-run.
"Support those who remain on the front line."
