Competitive & Inclusive Athletics (WBAL/CCS)—Launching the Greg & Christina Baszucki Athletics Center
About the Organization
Woodside Priory Athletics fields competitive middle- and upper-school teams across seasons in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) within CIF's Central Coast Section (CCS)—guided by Priory's Benedictine values and a commitment to participation. Coaches (many also faculty) emphasize sportsmanship, work ethic, and growth, while student-athletes get support from on-campus Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. Recent highlights include the 2025 CIF Boys Basketball Division IV State Champions title—the first state championship in school history. Greg & Christina Baszucki are committing $7 million to create the Greg & Christina Baszucki Athletics Center—a training & performance hub, sports-medicine suite, updated team spaces, and community gathering areas that will anchor Priory's inclusive, competitive athletics for years to come.
