Competitive & Inclusive Athletics (WBAL/CCS)—Launching the Greg & Christina Baszucki Athletics Center
About the Organization
Woodside Priory Athletics fields competitive middle- and upper-school teams across seasons in the West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) within CIF's Central Coast Section (CCS)—guided by Priory's Benedictine values and a commitment to participation. Coaches (many also faculty) emphasize sportsmanship, work ethic, and growth, while student-athletes get support from on-campus Athletic Training and Sports Medicine. Recent highlights include the 2025 CIF Boys Basketball Division IV State Champions title. This victory marked Priory's first state championship since 2000, when the Girls Volleyball team won the CIF Division V State Champions title—a legacy of athletic excellence spanning 25 years. Greg & Christina Baszucki are committing $7 million to create the Greg & Christina Baszucki Athletics Center—a training & performance hub, sports-medicine suite, updated team spaces, and community gathering areas that will anchor Priory's inclusive, competitive athletics for years to come.
