Army West Point Athletics
Division I Sports that Build Leaders of Character
About the Organization
Army West Point Athletics is the Division I program of the U.S. Military Academy. The mission: provide an extraordinary D-I experience that develops leaders of character—on the field, in the classroom, and for the Army and the nation. Cadet-athletes compete in 25 NCAA sports plus varsity rugby and sprint football, with a culture rooted in the Academy's values and leadership standards. At West Point, sport is a leadership lab. Every cadet competes—varsity, club, or company—so resilience, teamwork, and pressure-tested decision-making become daily habits. With 1,000+ cadet-athletes supported by the Army A Club, elite coaching, academic support via the Center for Enhanced Performance, and signature rivalries including the Army-Navy Star Series, Army West Point Athletics turns competition into preparation for lifelong service.
